HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE Nice Touch Driving School (NTDS) was founded in 1994 by John and Gail Sabanosh. While researching driving schools for their two children, they were inspired to create NTDS, as they failed to find an acceptable driving school. As John was a career police sergeant of the Madison Police Department for over 25 years and head of the traffic division, he certainly had the qualifications and expertise to start his own driving school. NTDS operations began out of his family home in Whippany, New Jersey. It started as a micro business servicing only local customers, later he became well-known and developed into a successful driving school. It eventually expanded and moved into its current location at 470 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, New Jersey. In 2001, Dr. Anthony F. Cupo, a business professor from County College of Morris saw the value and potential of this reputable driving school and purchased the business. Using his business experience, Anthony was able to extensively expand the business. Currently we have six (6) driving instructors, five (5) cars, and three (3) AAA Driver Improvement Program (DIP) instructors. Today NTDS is recognized throughout Morris County as a highly ranked, prestigious, fully integrated driving school. We are proud of our school having the exclusive distinction of being an AAA Certified school to teach the AAA DIP Program and being designated an EXCLUSIVE AAA APPROVED DRIVING SCHOOL.
